Hard Cider Fermenting
I started another batch of hard cider yesterday and here is video of the fermentation after one day. I used five gallons of local organic unfiltered apple juice, three pounds of brown sugar, and White Labs champagne yeast. I boiled the sugar and one gallon of the juice to make a syrup and simply mixed everything in the carboy. The last time I made this recipe it was extremely tasty, very dry, and about 11% alcohol!
